This platter is made by joining two glass bubbles which are concurrently hand-blown and joined while both are still hot. The interior is a swirl of blue, green and white with a transparent band joining the purple rim. The multi-colored center surrounded by the clear band and purple rim gives this platter the illusion of a framed water-color painting.
